I drank a LOT of kool-aid (the sugary kind, not the political kind) during my childhood in the 1970s, post-moon shot. In terms of Cold War kid food, I remember Space Food Sticks vaguely, and the sense that they had a better name than flavor.

I also like that Kool-Aid guy attitude. Oh Yeaahh!

I think sales of that stuff started to slide off when the legendary “The Astronauts” chose Tang as their official space-side breakfast drink. One could wish otherwise.
